A lady from Denmark wrote to Swami Sivanandaji about her brother. He had left her ten years ago. He was wont to pilfer and cheat family members. She asked, "Should I allow him to stay with me?"

To Swamiji everyone was divine. Evil did not exist in his vision at all. He at once wrote back, "Welcome your brother. Forget the past; see no evil in him. Trust him. Love him. Treat him in such a manner that the misgivings he might have about the reception that might await him at your house are dispelled and he should feel at home in your house."
