Dear Children!

We begin this letter by asking a simple question—What makes you fortunate? When do you feel inclined to say—‘It was very fortunate for me that …?’ When your worldly wish is fulfilled, you achieve what is goody with or without efforts or when you are able to avoid what you don’t like, you say you are fortunate. Isn’t it? You are partly correct, if you think so. The wise say that fortune smiles on you when you:

  1. Do those good and forgive those who have not been good to you.

  2. Ignore your own interests for the sake of others’ welfare.

  3. Behave towards your elders in the most polite way you can.

  4. Are convinced that you should live more for others and less for yourself; you should think more of solving others’ problems and less of yours.

  5. Are ready always to be helpful and useful to others—known or unknown—by sharing with the needy what you have, consoling the distressed, serving the sick, feeding the hungry and clothing the naked.

  6. Try to remember God as much as possible.

  7. Remind yourself again and again that God is present in and controlling all your doings—walking, eating, playing, studying etc.

How does fortune smile on you you when the course of your action and behaviour is in accordance with the code of conduct mentioned above? When you act and behave in this way, God is immensely happy with you and showers His blessings on you bounteously. And, this makes you fortunate.

God’s happiness and blessings pave the way for your lively communion with Him. This communion you will experience in many ways. Sometimes God will come on your doorstep to rid you of your difficulties, sometimes He will play with you and sometimes He will come to share your food. What a situation! If we ever find you in this situation, we will be envious of you!

The experience of this situation is ultimate. In this situation you will be ever happy in any circumstance. Your communion with God will make you a child with a difference. We know about such fortunate children. Their lives have been documented by scriptures and other sources of knowledge like books and magazines.

Dear children, many points of this letter may need further elucidation. You’d better ask us to do so. Your interaction with us will make the imparted knowledge well implanted in your minds.

Awaiting your reactions and responses,

With profound love,

May God bless you!
Yours affectionately,
