Thinking Philosophically
The following quotations are taken from the books of the great philosopher and saint Swami Krishnananda and are grouped under ten subject headings. Given that the quotes come from different sections of different books, they are not necessarily meant to be read straight through as a continuous whole. Rather, it is suggested that these extremely profound and insightful excerpts could be read individually, in a careful and contemplative way. (The books from which the quotes were taken include: The Philosophy of Religion, The Philosophy of the Bhagavad Gita, The Secret of the Katha Upanishad, Yoga as a Universal Science, The Chandogya Upanishad, Sadhana: The Spiritual Way, and To Thy Own Self Be True.)
