Avadhoot Keshavanandaji

There is a great soul now in Rishikesh named Avadhoot Kesavanandaji. An Avadhoot is a Sannyasin who keeps no vessel or cloth. Some are naked. Some wear Kowpeen only. Kesavanandaji is a great Titikshu (one who has great power of endurance). He is about sixty-five (in 1937). He could stand for hours together in the hot sun, and remain in the waters of the Ganga for many hours in winter.
